Bringing Together Two Experienced Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorneys
In 2004, two well-respected and experienced estate planning and elder law attorneys, Michael Kirtland and Catherine Seal, came together to form the law office of Kirtland & Seal, L.L.C. Since that time, our firm has been committed to providing compassionate legal counsel in a variety of areas, including elder law, estate planning, probate administration, and guardianships and conservatorships.
Each with distinguished backgrounds in their own right, attorneys Kirtland and Seal draw upon more than 25 years of combined experience in estate planning and elder law to benefit our clients every day. They are two of only nine lawyers in the state of Colorado designated as Certified Elder Law Attorneys by the National Elder Law Foundation. In addition, both have advanced legal degrees, which allows them to approach every matter with greater perspective and depth of understanding. Ms. Seal holds an LL.M. in Elder Law and Mr. Kirtland holds and LL.M. in Taxation.
As active leaders of many national and state estate planning and elder law organizations, our lawyers are well-known for their advocacy throughout the country. As published authors and frequent speakers on estate planning and elder law topics, they are deeply involved in the legal community and stand at the forefront of developments in these areas of the law.
